kimberly and frank delapeFrank and Kimberly have strived to live what they believe their family’s vision statement is: “We are blessed to be a blessing!” Together they work on their vision to become their mission. Frank is Chairman and CEO of Benchmark Equity Group, a company he founded in 1994. Kimberly is the founder and Chief Creative Officer for Brand Moguls, an award winning company she founded in 2008.

They both thrive on giving back to the community. Not only do they give financially to many charities but they also participate on a ground level with them as well. Since they have been married, every Christmas Eve Frank plays the role of Santa Claus for the children of The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, a shelter for domestic violence victims, and Kimberly plays the elf. Each year they request the list from the children; then they purchase each child’s two most wanted gifts, eagerly anticipating the smiles on each child’s face. They also do this for the San Jose de Malambo Orphanage in Panama.

Frank and Kimberly have also underwritten an initiative through UNICEF in Panama, which will inoculate over 16,500 children over the next few years. Kimberly serves on the Board of Directors for UNICEF, the Board of Directors for The Children’s Assessment Center, and on the Houston Ballet Foundation Board of Trustees. She and Frank were co-chairs for the Houston Ballet Ball, Magnificent Marie, in 2009. Kimberly was named Woman of Distinction benefitting the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation in 2008. She will be co-chairing the Spirit of Spring Luncheon benefitting The Children’s Assessment Center on April 1, 2011. She and Frank were the recipients of the Shannon R. Schrader Humanitarian Award for this year’s Cabaret For A Cure benefitting Legacy Community Health Services.

They love being the parents of three magnificent children and their family is guided by Christ-centered principles, as they are active members in Lakewood Church.

They are thrilled to be recipients of the Social Book Houston Treasures Award for 2011!
