]Hannah and Cal McNair both born and raised in Houston have a very active role in the community focused on many initiatives close to their hearts and close to home. Cal attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a four-year member of the Longhorn football team. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Rice University Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management. Hannah earned her B.B.A. from the University of Houston.
Cal is Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the Houston Texans. He has been a limited partner of the Texans since 2001 and also serves as the vice chairman of Palmetto Partners, Ltd. and serves on the NFL Investment Committee. Prior to 2001, Cal worked at Cogen Technologies for 11 years. In 1987, he was hired as one of the company’s first employees and helped oversee the construction of several major power plants in the eastern United States, managing those assets in the areas of financial analysis and project management.
Cal is a member of the board of trustees of The Robert and Janice McNair Foundation, as well as the Robert and Janice McNair Educational Foundation. He is a director and vice president of the Houston Texans Foundation, a member of the United Way’s prestigious Alexis de Tocqueville Society and a current member of the Amegy Bank Advisory Board, The University of Texas Chancellor’s Council, and Houston Zoo Board.
Hannah is a current board member for DePelchin Children’s Center and Project 88 Foundation. She currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Lady Texans, Celebration of Reading Committee, Ladies for Literacy Guild, Texas Children’s Hospital Leadership Council, and Mentor for HISD. She has served as a chair or committee member for a number of Houston charities including: DePelchin Children’s Center, AVDA, Impact a Hero, The Mission of Yahweh, Candlelighters, The Children’s Assessment Center, Bo’s Place and many more.
Hannah and Cal have three boys together, Robert (5), Calhoun (4), Michael (2). Cal also has three daughters from previous marriage, Devon, Raelyn, and Vivian.
