Judi attended Oklahoma State and holds Bachelor and Masters degrees from Oklahoma City University. Judi managed her own oil and gas investment banking firm for 14 years which originated in Dallas and moved to Houston in 1993 upon her marriage to Jack. She now manages Gray Wolf Farms in Magnolia and Argyle, Texas where she raises and competes hunter and jumper horses across the country.
She is a stalwart of the Salvation Army, serving the Advisory Board, Boys and Girls Club Council, Development Committee, “Sally’s House” (a women’s home and center), and Women’s Auxiliary (founding member and past President). In addition, Judi currently serves as a Trustee for the Houston Symphony, co-chaired (with Jack) the 2002 Symphony Opening Night and co-chaired the 2005 Symphony Ball. Judy is a member of the Governing Council for the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, the University of Texas School of Nursing PARTNERS Executive Board and was on the Capital Campaign Committee for the Hobby Center of the Performing Arts. Judi was a CCFA Woman of Distinction and chaired their Winter Ball in 2006. She is very active in serving a variety of equestrian organizations and horse shows, including the governing bodies for the equestrian teams of the U.S. Olympics.
Judi has served as a Trustee and chaired the Stewardship Campaign at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. She is a proud parent of 16 horses, five dogs, three cats and numerous birds.
