Benjamin BergBorn in New York City, Benjamin Berg has been in the hospitality business for over 20 years, working for upscale hotels and steakhouses in key markets including Las Vegas, Mexico City, and his hometown. As the CEO and Founder of Berg Hospitality Group, a Houston-based restaurant group that conceives, launches, and operates restaurants in Texas, he actively manages all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations and leads a team of 20+ full-time corporate staff plus more than 500 restaurant employees. Under his leadership, Berg Hospitality has grown to nine restaurants, not including The Ranch Saloon + Steakhouse, a temporary 16,000 sq. ft. restaurant at NRG Park open for only 21 days during Rodeo Houston, and nine more are set to open in 2023.

With a true passion for the hospitality industry, all of Berg’s concepts focus on offering excellent service, unique atmospheres and unparalleled experiences for their guests while also giving back to the local community. Berg has given countless in-kind donations to various Houston and Fort Worth charities by hosting fundraising events, donating food and staff for charity events and gift certificates for raffles and silent and live auctions. All his restaurants have participated in “Houston Restaurant Weeks” every year since opening, and B&B Butchers & Restaurant has been the Houston Food Bank’s top donor for the past four years.

Berg, who has rightfully distinguished himself as a philanthropic leader in Houston, founded his annual “First Responders Appreciation Day” in 2017 after Hurricane Harvey and has continued this tradition annually by offering a complimentary 3-course meal to all First Responders. In addition, Berg is an active member of the Steer Auction Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and has been a scholarship donor for the past seven years.
