I W Marks Celebrated the Launch of Seiko Luxe Collection Just in Time for Father’s Day!
For more than 45 years, Houston-based jewelry store I W Marks has welcomed Houstonians into their iconic Bellaire-area establishment and throughout the years has contributed to many and varied charitable organizations. This week was no exception, as owner Brad Marks, accompanied by wife Joanna, partnered with Seiko Watches to launch their beautiful new Luxe Collection, just in time for Father’s Day. A percentage of the proceeds from the evening’s sales benefited the Lone Survivor Foundation, a non-profit organization, which provides Veterans and their families with a path to healing from their invisible wounds. LSF Founder Marcus Luttrell and his wife Melanie were on-hand to greet guests and talk about the tremendous work they’re doing for our troops.
Guests were treated to a Japanese whiskey-tasting experience, which was paired with cigars in honor of the renowned Japanese watchmaker. Mandola’s Catering provided light bites such as mouthwatering prime rib filet sliders, but the highlight of their epicurean offerings was where the executive chef roamed throughout the elegant store shucking oysters and handing the oyster in its shell to the attendees to slide into their mouths. No one had ever seen anything like this done at any kind of event, and it was a treat to watch!
