Guests Traveled to the French Countryside at Houston Symphony League President’s Luncheon

Lakeside Country Club’s ballroom was transported to the French countryside as the crowd gathered for the annual Houston Symphony League President’s Luncheon-“Bienvenue à Versailles.” Chairs Beth Wolff and Saula Valente proudly welcomed guests, who were there to honor the outgoing President, Heidi Rockecharlie, and welcome the incoming President, Leslie Nossaman. Beautifully created table centerpieces with candelabras filled with lavender and white florals, designed by Simply Saula, set the palatial tone for the afternoon.

“This financially self-sustaining volunteer organization is primarily focused on music education. This year, we are pleased to report that our donation to the Symphony exceeds $193,000, said Rockecharlie. The president continued, giving grateful thanks to the board members, honorees and event sponsors, followed by the introduction of her successor.

Recognized for her efforts was Susan Osterberg, who was gifted with the Ellen Kelley Volunteer of the Year Award by 2024 award recipient Donna Mello.

Mello and the event chairs presented Heidi Rockecharlie with a magnum of Le Chemin du Roi Champagne by 50 Cent, an Hermes scarf and a crystal award depicting the artwork of this year’s Icon event, a perfect tribute commemorating her successful term.
