Cirque du Soleil’s “KOOZA” “KOO-dn’t” Be Any Better!
After 11 years, Sam Houston Race Park once again set the stage for an epic premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s “KOOZA,” held under their iconic Big Top. More than 2,000 very excited attendees walked the red carpet to have their photos taken with the lively Cirque performers during the electrifying 90-minute reception, which included multiple concession and beverage areas, stilt walkers, costumed performers, a 360-degree photobooth, jazz band Texas Gypsies and a VIP area for special Cirque guests.
The performance, which includes a 25-minute intermission, was sheer magic, with death-defying acts, high-flying acrobatics, hilarious clowns, lavish costumes, audience participation, a powerful live score and some of the best vocals these ears have heard!
KOOZA, which premiered in Montreal, Canada over a decade ago has played in over 66 cities in 22 countries, on four continents and performed to over 8 million spectators. This tour comprises more than 110 performers from 24 nationalities, including 52 artists.
