Two “Paws Up” for Houston PetSet’s Virtual “Fierce & Fabulous Soirée

The upstairs patio at The Annie Café & Bar was “Fierce & Fabulous” this past Friday, as Houston PetSet founders Tena Lundquist Faust and twin sister Tama Lundquist hosted a small invitation-only “watch party” on the patio of one of Houston’s most celebrated restaurants. Hosts were Great Day Houston’s Deborah Duncan and former radio DJ and current real estate guru Johnny Bravo Holloway, who kicked the evening off with a streamed video peek into the homes of the event supporters, who were enjoying watch parties across the city. Donors were treated to personalized food and beverage deliveries prior to the event.

The stunning Lundquist twins, dressed in black, thanked guests for their support and the crown began bidding up auction items such as: a diamond pendant from de Boulle Diamond & Jewelry Patek Philippe Showroom, a Laura Munder signed 18k Dangle Drop Amethyst and Diamond Earrings from iTouchDiamonds, and an exclusive stay on Coeur d’Alene Lake in Idaho.

Taped previously and streamed virtually, KPRC’s Lisa Hernandez and Rice University’s Dr. Stephen Klineberg made guest appearances and then everyone was wowed when America’s Got Talent Season 13 Semi-finalist Christina Wells performed and brought the crowd to tears with her emotional vocals. By evening’s end, $200,000 was raised to support Greater Houston area animal welfare groups, which is even more critical during our current state of pandemic distraction. Two “paws up” to all who made this event so fun to watch.
