He began his career in the East Texas oilfields, later becoming a partner in an independent oil & gas exploration company here in Houston.

Richard quickly earned a reputation for producing exceptional events earning the attention of movers, shakers, and decision-makers in Texas and around the United States.

His private clientele have taken Richard and his team everywhere from the East Coast to the West Coast and beyond to Mexico, Puerto Rico and Europe.

In 2003, Richard joined forces with the Landry’s organization at the helm of The Events Company. Here he has assembled a strong creative and production team who are armed with extensive creative resources and who share Richard’s passion for producing exceptional events. In 2010, Town & Country Magazine selected him to serve on their Wedding Advisory Board. He has been honored by the Houston Chronicle, naming him the Ultimate Event Planner in Houston.

When asked to name his most favorite event, he replies, “There is really not one, instead it is the blessing of meeting so many wonderful clients, many of whom have become great friends.”
