regan rachelRachel Regan was born to Larry and Kathy Podsednik and raised in West Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Baylor University and moved to Houston to work as a trauma and ER nurse at Hermann Hospital.

Today, as the Vice President and Managing Director for Exclusive Resorts—and a wife and mother of two, she still finds time to be a fundraiser, community leader and volunteer.

Rachel is past president of the Baylor College of Medicine Partnership Board, and currently serves on the Boards of the March of Dimes and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. She has served on the Boards of American Cancer Society VICTORY, Houston Ballet Guild, St. Luke’s Friends of Nursing, and Children’s Assessment Center Friends Guild.

She has chaired or co-chaired: the inaugural Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital Gala, the Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market, the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Gala, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Gala, the Children’s Museum of Houston Luncheon, the Citizens for Animal Protection Gala, and the inaugural Women of Substance luncheon benefiting The Mission of Yahweh.

Rachel is proud of her work with The Junior League of Houston, Inc. where she has served on the Board of Directors, on the Executive Committee as the Development Vice President, and as Chairman of the following committees: Charity Ball, Provisional and Sustainer, Community Partner, Community Collaborations, and Community Assistance. She chaired “1925 – An Epic Era” Charity Ball, a three-night celebration of the 90th Anniversary of The Junior League of Houston, Inc.

She has been honored with the Sarah Houston Lindsey Outstanding Active Award by the Junior League, as a 2014 Crohn’s and Colitis/ABC-13 Women of Distinction, as one of H Texas magazine’s Most Beautiful Houstonians, and by the Easter Seals of Greater Houston as a 2017 “Hats off to Mothers” honoree.

Rachel is most proud of her husband Tom Regan, her children Wynn Lawrence (age 7) and Eleanor Kathryn (Ella) (age 5), her parents, family and close friends. She is truly grateful to God every day for her countless blessings.
