Page Parkes is co-owner of Page Parkes Corporation, the largest modeling and acting agency group in the Southwestern United States. She is known worldwide for her “eye” in scouting and developing talent for the fashion and commercial industry’s most renowned agencies.
Page’s efforts over the past four decades have earned her an outstanding reputation, successful agencies, and the National Businesswoman of the Year Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners. She is named in Who’s Who and as one of Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women. She has received the National Leadership Award, the 2004 Fashion Forum Award, the 2008 Cadillac Texas Spirit Award, and the 2009 Channel 11 Texas Spirit Award. Page Parkes Corporation was named a Winner of Distinction for 2006-2010 by the Better Business Bureau and was BBB’s Pinnacle Winner of 2009 and 2011. For her work to bring awareness and raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation in Houston, she was the honoree of Arthritis Foundation’s 2019 Charity Gala.
Page is very active within the community, taking special pride in her long-time involvement with Child Advocates as an advocate and a board member, working to raise awareness and funds needed to support local children in foster care. She was the honoree for the Child Advocates Angels of Hope Luncheon in 2005. With three adopted siblings from foster care of her own, raising funds for Child Advocates is very close to her heart. She sponsors the Child Advocates Angels of Hope luncheon each year by hosting 10 foster kids, providing the clothes, hair and make-up, and etiquette instruction in preparation to attend the elegant luncheon as her honored guests─a confidence building, dream experience for the selected Houston foster kids.
Page says: “Leadership for me is very close to the Golden Rule: do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.”
