An Electric Car and an Electric Night for the Launch of Porsche Macan EV at the “Electric Garden of Time Soirée”
Houston’s Porsche West Houston and Porsche River Oaks were chosen from dealerships nationwide to launch Porsche’s revolutionary all-electric SUV, the Porsche Macan EV. They chose the luxurious Post Oak at Uptown to launch the inaugural Electric Garden of Time Soirée, where nine Inspiring Women of Houston were unveiled along with this cutting-edge and elegant mode of transportation.
The inspirational seated dinner was a celebration of local women whose leadership and vision have made a lasting impact in Houston. Honorees included Nini Hale, Shari Heyen, Perri Palermo Motamedi, Dr. Laura Murillo, April Salazar, Kristina Somerville, Christine Spray, Elizabeth Stein and Laura Ward. Their dedication to community service, advocacy, and empowerment was fêted by an engaged and appreciative audience of guests. Invitees meandered through the “Electric Garden of Time” and were greeted by live fashion sketches, a painting performance and intricate glass etching—all showcased by local artists. They were also thrilled to experience the Macan EV, explore its luxurious interior and advanced technology, and get a feel for the vehicle’s modern features and the Macan EV’s blend of performance and sophistication.
Media personality Courtney Zavala led the evening as emcee. Special guest Deborah Duncan, local talk show host of Great Day Houston, brought a touch of celebrity to the event. The festive dinner had something for everyone and included delicacies such as Crab Cake and Beef Wellington appetizers, Herb-Roasted Airline Chicken and Pan Roasted Filet Mignon entrées and a Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Bar for a decadent dessert!

As if the immersive experience and delectable dinner weren’t enough, each guest was given a Porsche gift bag with a Hermes perfume collection, a “Keep Your Essence notebook,” a Dior perfume sample, a voucher for a free portrait session at Gittings and a Porsche stemless wine glass.
