A Three-Time “Chair Trifecta” and Unveiling of Best Dressed Honorees as Neiman Marcus Hosts the Announcement Party for March of Dimes
Neiman Marcus in the Galleria was abuzz when more than 125 guests gathered in the store’s Couture section to celebrate the announcement of the 2026 Best Dressed Honorees for the PaperCity Philanthropy in Fashion Luncheon benefiting March of Dimes.
Neiman’s General Manager Kathy Leigh and Brand Experience Manager Heather Almond were all aglow as the festivities began. Houston social icon Rosemary Schatzman has now made March of Dimes history as the only person to serve as chairperson for the Best Dressed Luncheon three times in the event’s 44-year legacy! A “MOD-Best Dressed” Trifecta! Rosemary took the stage, delivered heartfelt remarks, and shared her deeply personal reasons for taking the helm thrice. The program continued with remarks from Memorial Hermann Foundation’s Executive Vice President and CEO Anne Neeson. She highlighted the powerful partnership between Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital (serving as Presenting Sponsor) and March of Dimes and underscored the luncheon’s fundamental role in advancing the health of mothers and babies.
PaperCity’s Shelby Hodge then stepped to the microphone and revealed the ten women being celebrated for their impeccable style and selfless service to our city, which we all love. Taking well-deserved applause were Ann Ayre, Amanda Boffone, Erica Littlejohn Burnette, Myrtle Jones, Ellecia Knolle, Amy Pierce, Susan Plank, Gillian Sarofim, Leigh Smith and Allison Thacker.
The PaperCity Philanthropy in Fashion 44th Annual Best Dressed Luncheon is set for Tuesday, September 15th at The Post Oak at Uptown Houston. The event promises to be a sellout, especially with the effervescent Rosemary Schatzman leading the charge, securing sponsorships, driving fundraising efforts and creating an afternoon to remember!
