Maghan’s Sorrento Lemon Drop

Ingredients:
1/3 cup sugar
Zest of 1 giant lemon or 2 medium lemons
3/4 cup lemonade good quality lemonade (Simply Lemonade is excellent or use fresh lemons make your own)
2 shots lemon vodka (I use 360 Sorrento Lemon Vodka)
1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

Directions:
Pour sugar into a saucer and set aside. Rub rim of a martini glass with lemon juice and then press rim into the saucer with sugar. Set aside. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake briskly for 60-90 seconds and serve in a chilled martini glass. Decorate rim of martini glass with strips of lemon peel.
