A Heartfelt Celebration with 300 Helped Vita Living Raise $207,000 at “Pearls of Wisdom” Gala

Children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) were celebrated at the annual Vita Living “Pearls of Wisdom” Gala. Over 300 guests donned bright colors and brought their excitement to the River Oaks Country Club ballroom, where the festive cocktail hour provided them with a signature “Aperol Spritz” drink; a curated silent auction featuring six nights in a Beaver Creek resort, a private casita at Chablé Yucantán Chocolá, a vivid aluminum-mounted photograph and more!

Emcee Kip Alstaetter welcomed the crowd and invited Vita Living CEO Joseph Cooper to give the evening’s invocation. Chairs Kristen Perrin, Pamela Perilloux, and Bryan P. Smith shared a few “Pearls of Wisdom” remarks, and a heartfelt video featuring testimonials from board members Myrla Menn and Beth and John Hoffman was shown on the screens.

Partiers enjoyed an all-Italian meal and energetic auction superstar Johnny “Bravo” Holloway led the “Paddles Up” for the successful live auction.

Post-event, Vita Living hosted an exclusive “After Event Toast,” where guests enjoyed further celebration and a decadent gelato bar. By evening’s end, the gala had proudly raised over $207,000 in support of Vita Living’s efforts.
